The Physician Front Office Assistant will be responsible for all front office activities at the Central KY Kidney Center, Lexington, KY.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Compensation: Pay range depending on qualifications and experience

Responsibilities
What You Can Expect:
- Greets and receives arriving patients.
- Answers calls promptly and courteously, and routes calls appropriately.
- Schedules / reschedules patient appointments, new patient referrals, and physicians’ meetings and personal engagements at his/her requests timely and accurately.Reviews the provider’s instructions for follow-up appointments with patient while they are still in the office.
- Supports medical records and clinical staff, as time permits, by assisting with the scanning and processing of patient reports.
- Attends all required practice meetings and training sessions.
- Performs other essential duties at practice manager’s reasonable request.

Education/Training:
- High school graduation or GED.
- Prefer minimum one year experience, preferably in a fast-paced medical/dental office setting.
- Positive customer service skills, specifically with answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.
- Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
