Mid Coast Medical Group is looking for a Locum Gastroenterologist to help provide coverage to the team as soon as possible.
Details:
Practice Setting: Combination Outpatient and Hospital-based practice
Dates of Coverage: immediately for 3 to 6 months or longer depending on hiring of permanent physician
Schedule (Shifts and Hours): 4 days patient care, 1 admin/office day per week
Call Schedule: Every third day and 1:4 weekends. Call back Percentage: 1-2 per night on average.
Clinical Areas: Office/Clinic, Hospital
How Many Physicians in Your Group? 2
Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
Facility will reimburse Flight, Hotel, Rental Car, Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate
What is the unit s inpatient and outpatient breakdown? Do you know if it s 50/50 or more outpatient than inpatient, or vise versa? Inpatient / call coverage is 1 week every 4 weeks. Inpatient volume varies but is typically 0-6 New Inpatient Consults per day.
What specific procedures are required? Endoscopy and EGD are required. NO ERCP/EUS procedures.
If they aren t requiring ERCP, will they allow a small percentage of procedures to be ERCP? No, ERCP is not needed.
What are the shift times? Usually 8 hour days
What is the specifics of the 24-hour coverage? For example, when does call start and end? Call rotation is Thursday night starting at 6 pm to the following Thursday night at 6 pm
Rates needed for submission:
Orientation
Hourly (clinic hours only)
Hourly 2 (admin/office work only)
Overtime
Night Call
On Call (Daily)
Call Back
All Holiday rates are 1.5x the regular rate
Conversion Fee (***k rate cap)
