This is a great opportunity with one of our clients in Colorado in search of a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to assist with their coverage needs. Our client is looking for a locum Gastroenterologist for clinic and scoping coverage during the day with night call during the week and 24 hour call on the weekends.

October 21-25 - 8a-5p only
October 25 - 5p-7a
December 2-5 - 8a-5p only
December 6 - 8a-5p x 2
December 6 5p-7a
December 7-8 -24 hour
December 9-13 -8a-5p only
December 16-20 - 8a-5p only
December 23-24 - 8a-5p
December 26-27 - 8a-5p
January 6-19
January 20-23 - 8a-5p only
January 24 - 8a-5p x 2
January 24 - 5p-7a
January 25-26 - 24 hour
January 31 - 8a-5p, 5p-7a
February 1-7
February 10-14 - 8a-5p only
February 17-March 2

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Active Colorado license or IMLC
Board Certified required
LVL III Trauma Center
Emergency Temp Privileges available in 7-14 days
EMR: EPIC

Required Procedures/Duties:
Scoping and bread and butter GI: EGD, colonoscopy, manometry, flex sigs and 24 hour PH probe.
Upon your reply please let me know if you can treat: Hepatology and IBD patients (preferred not required)
Required job duties: Follow-through with patient if/when labs or other orders have been placed is required.
No ERCP/EUS
Providers must signs all orders and notes
Will perform 12-16 scopes per day and if working clinic, patient will see 10-15 PPD
IBS experience preferred

Scheduling Needs:
7am-5pm/8am-5pm hourly/clinic, night call (5pm-7am) + 24 hour call (7am-7am)
Some clinic days and some procedure days
Weekday shifts (7am-5pm Monday - Friday)
Weekday Night Call (5pm-7am Monday-Friday) must include 2.5 hours gratis
Weekend shifts (7am-7am Saturday - Sunday) must include 4 hours gratis

Volume:
12-16 Procedures scopes per day
10-15 Patients per day when in clinic

Support Staff:
MA, NP/PA, RN
Anesthesiologist is on site
Hospitalist admits patients
