South Georgia Gastroenterology Physician Locums Job

Our client in South Georgia is seeking a Gastroenterologist to assist with ongoing coverage. The ideal candidate will come in and cover a full procedure day. The hospital has an opening for a new permanent physician, so if you're interested in a new potential permanent opportunity, please reach out!

Details/Requirements for Assignment
- Coverage: Preferably 7 on 7 off but at least a full 7-day stretch per month (would prefer a Tuesday-to-Tuesday schedule, every other week, for December 2024-April 2025 at least)
- Location: Southwest Georgia
- Active Georgia license required
- Will cover call during your 7 days. There are two other providers who will share call the opposing weeks.
- ERCP and EUS required. Will see 17-22 procedures per day. All inpatient coverage.
- There are 7 mid-levels dedicated to Gastro service at the hospital
- Anesthesia available 24/7
- 690 bed hospital. Performs 15,000 Surgeries annually
- Level II Trauma hospital
- Meditech
