This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

What You Will Do:

Ascension St. Vincent is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible hematologist/oncologist for our practice in Anderson, Indiana.

 

• 2 physicians currently in the practice
• The call: 1:4.5
• Regional call group
• Outpatient with inpatient consults
• Some of the lowest malpractice rates in the country
• Excellent Midwest cost of living
• Very reasonable Midwest traffic and travel
• No traffic headaches
• Indianapolis International Airport is a  recurrent winner of best airport with international destinations
  Easy and short commute from Carmel, Westfield, Zionsville and Fishers

• Ascension St. Vincent Anderson is a 240-bed acute care hospital in Anderson, Indiana, serving patients of all ages in Madison county and surrounding areas.
• Services include a Level III Trauma Center, mental health and addictions unit, state-of-the-art cancer center, women’s center, outpatient surgery center, ambulatory care, and outpatient rehabilitation center.
• Ascension St. Vincent Anderson has 150 physicians on the medical staff and more than 1,500 associates. Anderson is located 30 minutes northeast of Indianapolis.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
