VHS is looking for an OB/GYN in Lancaster, CA! Program Details: Patient Population: Serving an agriculture area. Of the 5000 total hospital annual births at least 750 to 800 are handled by our hospitalists. Current Stats: /mo 60 visits/mo 180 (includes NP visits, doc sees 10-12 patients/session) visits/mo 177 NICU Level III EMR: Cerner Shift Rotation: F/T on average 7-8 non-consecutive in-house shifts per month Duties: High Risk Obstetrical Services Requirements: California licensure Board Certification with a minimum of 2-3 years active experiences. Hours: 10a-10a Boards: AOBOG, ABOG TB, Flu Shot, and Case Logs required Responsibilities: Shifts are 24 hours in length, the provider must remain in-house during their shift Manage unassigned OB patients that present to L&D and the main ER Provide coverage of Obstetric emergencies Manage unassigned GYN patients that present to the Main ER Triage of all unassigned patients and for private physicians when requested Perform Antepartum, Post-partum and GYN rounds on unassigned patients that are on the OB/GYN Hospitalist service Inpatient consults We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristic protected by law.
