An academic hospital has a job opening for a Pediatric Hospitalist to join their growing team! Located in Southwest CT, they are offering a c ompetitive salary + RVUs!

Job Function:

• Shift work
• Oversee hospitalized pediatric patients and do well baby rounding
• Will also consult between dept of pediatrics and family medicine
• Teaching hospital and will provide teaching for dept of surg. family med and PA students
• 10+ bed inpatient ped. unit with daily census of 6-7
• 30+ beds in the well baby nursery. avg daily census is 12-13
• 8 bed Ped EM unit in hospital staffed by Ped EM physicians
• Peds unit and NICU have recently been fully updated
