A healthcare organization in Massachusetts is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing Inpatient Hospitalist team in Essex County. About the Opportunity: Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: Ongoing Shift: Days, Swing or Nights Patient Volume: 8 to 12 per day Responsibilities: The Hospitalist will: Direct care and develop comprehensive treatments plans for hospitalized patients Communicate with patients and/or their designated healthcare advocate on progress and plans Ensure appropriate transfer of care when assigned hours of service end and upon patient discharge from the hospital Document daily involvement in patient care in the medical record and record charges appropriate to the level of service provided and documented Participate in quality and process improvement projects as well as hospital committees Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Licensed to practice in the State of Massachusetts Board Eligible / Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine Desired Skills: Bilingual (English and Spanish) Your privacy is important to us.
