Pediatric Hospitalist Locums Job in Georgia Long Term Coverage Location: South Georgia is known for its warm hospitality and stunning natural beauty. Facility is expanding its pediatric hospital medicine program and seeks locums inpatient pediatricians. Position Overview: 7 on/7 off schedule, with both day and night shifts available. Facility includes a Level I & II Nursery, with approximately 1,400 deliveries per year. Pediatric hospitalists will be present at high-risk deliveries. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality inpatient care for pediatric patients. Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Oversee and mentor APPs in clinical settings. Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management. Requirements: MD or DO degree. Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics within 6 years post-residency. Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with APPs.
