Requirements:

• MD/DO
• Active UT license
• BC/BE (Board certification within 2 years of employment)
• DEA License
• Be able to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs or any similar government-funded health care program

Responsibilities:

• Performs history and physical examinations as indicated.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess the patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
• Initiates and/or recommends medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatment and procedures in accordance with approved protocols/policy.
• Complies with medical records policies regarding the complete and accurate documentation of patient care.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
• Counsels patients, families and significant others about health and illness, and promotes health maintenance.
• Evaluates, plans, implements, and re-evaluates the care of individuals requiring emergency measures.
• Supervise mid-level health care providers as assigned.
• Perform and/or participate in any administrative duties which may be ancillary to the providing of clinical care, as necessary to perform professional functions.
• Comply with all applicable laws and canons of professional ethics.
• Maintain a practice of medicine consistent with recognized standards of medical care and perform all activities in accordance with those standards.
• Any other duties as assigned. Salary and Benefits Package: 225k starting salary, 125k sign-on bonus, student loan repayment, among others.
