A healthcare system in Vermont is currently a licensed Physician, with a Family and/or Internal Medicine background, for a promisingopportunity at one of their facilities in Burlington.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date:ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility / Clinic
- Specialty:Family / Internal Medicine
- Patient Population:Geriatric
- Patient Volume: 10 to 16 per day
- EMR:Epic
The Family / Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for:
- Seeing patients for preventative visits
- Assisting patients withacute and chronic ongoing needs
- Handling SNF admissions anddischarges
- Doing periodic assessments
- Performing other duties, as needed
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Vermont
- Board Certified / Eligible in Family and/or InternalMedicine
- Experience working with the Geriatric population
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communicationskills (written and verbal)
