What You Will Do:

Position Details:

• OB/GYN providing Womens services in a growing community
• Competitive Compensation
• Working with great office staff and an experience Labor and Delivery Team in the Hospital
• Working with a Certified Nurse Midwife and ability to supervise APPs in the future.
• Performing wide range of testing, diagnosing, treating and monitoring diseases and issues related to all ages of women's health
• Monitoring and treating expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. 
• Clinic practice located on the Hospital campus with a short walk to the L&D unit

• Located half way between Nashville and Chattanooga in McMinnville, TN
• 125 licensed beds
• Offers 24/7 Hospitalist Onsite Coverage
• Very busy Emergency Department staffed by ED certified physicians
• Acute Care Floor as well as 10-bed Geropsych Unit and 15-bed Physical Rehabilitation Unit

• High-risk management of patients in partnership with Tennessee Maternal Fetal Medicine

• Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford - Level II NICU
• Specialized Obstetrics and Gynecology Emergency Departments with dedicated entrance
• Dedicated Women’s Surgical Health OR’s at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown offering minimally invasive procedures and robotics
• Specialists in Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Cardiology, Breast, and Pelvic Health

What You Will Need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility.

 

Education:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
