Position Summary
MemorialCare's Pediatric Heart Institute is seeking an experienced, board-certified Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgeon to support our growing program at our Miller Children's Hospital and Long Beach Medical Center campus. Successful candidates will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience performing Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery and will have proven leadership abilities.

o 24/7 Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist team
o 8 bed Dedicated Pediatric Cardiothoracic ICU
o 24 bed Pediatric ICU
o 90 bed CCS Tertiary Level IV NICU
o 357 licensed pediatric and women's beds

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• American Board of Surgery certification
• American Board of Thoracic Surgery/Congenital Cardiac certification
• Demonstrated excellent clinical outcomes and team-building

Miller Children's and Women's Hospital Long Beach is one of eight private, regional, not-for-profit children's hospitals in California and first opened in 1970. It is a 357-bed children's and women's hospital that treats more than 13,000 children each year and has become a regional pediatric destination for more than 84,000 children. It has an active perinatal service with over 6,000 deliveries annually and one of the area's largest Neonatal Intensive Care units (NICU) with over 90 beds.
