• Oversee all aspects of the Medical & AHP staff with the Administrative Director & Department Chair
• Drive Medical & AHP staff performance assessments and reviews, including the use of such tools as analytics & dashboards
• Assist with oversight of staffing levels, performance, and accountability
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state laws & regulations, meeting the requirements and responsibilities of the Medical Director under NYCRR Title 14 part 580, and NYS Mental Hygiene Law
• Assist with the planning & implementation of the performance improvement program
• Function as a consultant, when needed to other Psychiatrists and admitting patients
• Insure coverage of the BSU at all times by a qualified Psychiatrist member of the Medical Staff
