Overview
JOB SUMMARY
The Physician Relations Liaison is engaged in identifying, qualifying, and creating new business relationships among the various customer segments within a defined market. The Laboratory Outreach Specialist meets routinely with physicians, nurses, practice administrators, office managers, nursing home representatives, urgent care managers, and representatives of other related facilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: BS/BA in Marketing or Business Administration.
Experience: A minimum of two years of sales experience, with no less than one year related to marketing or promoting a healthcare product or service to physician offices and other relevant facilities. Experience in physician relations, business development, marketing, and healthcare delivery systems strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Knowledge of the laboratory industry and government regulations in both hospital and skilled nursing facilities preferred. The individual must demonstrate the ability to work with a wide variety of people including physicians, hospital management and employees, patients, and the general public. Computer skills must include proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as the ability to learn and master database applications such as a CRM. Attention to detail is essential. The individual must possess the ability to think creatively, solve problems, and exercise good judgment and diplomacy.
License/Certifications: Valid California driver’s license in good standing with the state.
Equipment: Various office equipment.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
$31.48 - $47.22
The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
