Requirements: Specialty: General SurgeryLicense: New MexicoEducation: MD/DOCertification: BC/BEDetails of the Opportunity:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Surgeon.Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures, including but not limited to, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and colon resection.Ability to provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Willingness to work in a rural setting and provide care in a Critical Access hospital.Flexibility to work approximately 3 days per week.Locum Tenens candidates must be open to the option of housing at a country club in Elephant Butte if non-local.
