Physicist - Radiation Oncology - CARLE

The Physicist provides physics support for the Radiation Oncology department
Responsible for quality assurance of all treatment and planning devices in the department.

• Takes radiation measurements on the accelerators and analyzes the data.
• Verfies dosimetry calculations done by dosimitrists and technologists.
• Performs radiation therapy treatment planning.
• Performs QA procedures on all medical radiation devices and radiation safety surveys, which satisfy ACR certification requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining, scheduling, creating meeting minutes and oversight for the Radiation Safety Committee
