Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility.Required: CA License 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment PEDS Cardiac experience - MUST be cardiac trained Heart transplant experience Willing to float between units BLS PALS Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation Flu shotFloating is infrequent but could happen based on clinicians acuity level to the following units: PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center. Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. For night shift it is any combination of Fri/Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat/Sun.Requested Time Off: 3 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week) )*Self scheduling! Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD s and ECMO. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. If they don t have a CA license, please let AM know status of license application upon submission.Accepts locals, same rate, no mileage restrictionsCandidates will float within hospital and for NICU they float satellite locationsPerm staff need to wait a year to be eligible to travelModules completed before start are non-billable (can take traveler 6-8 hours to complete). The hours spent on modules are not billable and do not count as orientation hours. All Orientation hours are billable.For NICU and HomeCare positions, travelers are reimbursed for mileage when driving to any other location, other than their home base facility they signed for at for NICU.Mileage is reimbursed at IRS standard rate.Reimbursement form must be sent in within 30 days of floating with unit manager approval. are non-billable, for RN and Allied 6-8 hours to completeModules are completed pre-start, and are included in NBO hoursModules are recorded via transcripts, transcripts do not record time spent but whether modules are completed Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks:56
