Pilates Instructor PRN - Sarasota Memorial Health Care System

Job Summary:

Responsible for leading and instructing Pilates private one-on-one sessions and reformer classes to members and guests. Greets each member and guest who enters the studio area with an enthusiastic attitude and providing an entertaining, effective and safe exercise experience. Provides consultations and properly identifies safe starting levels and exercise programming. Responsible for maintaining accurate scheduling, attendance, documentation, and payment collection. Communicates with Supervisor on any changes, issues or needs as they arise. Responsible for maintenance repairs/cleaning and reporting and documentation of equipment as needed. Finds substitute instructors when needed and notifies Supervisor of changes. Attends all scheduled employee meetings. Assumes other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

- Require a current recognized certification or current documentation of training for Certified Pilates Reformer Instructor.
- Require Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification within ninety (90) days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Fitness, Kinesiology or a related field.
