Pipe Foreman - George Nice & Sons, Inc.

• Coordinates and supervises daily activities of a 2 - 8-person crew.
• oversees utilization of heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill drainage pipe.
• Sequences pipe installation to minimize inference with other project activities and the public
• Continually inspects work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns.
• Responsible for crew safety. Establishes safe work environment that complies with the Company safety program.
• Observes assigned equipment to detect machinery malfunctions. Assures the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Analyzes job cost reports to ensure production is within budget. . Reviews and approves employee time reporting.
• Maintains professional relationship with Owner.
• Submit daily work report to include time, attendance, equipment used as well as materials received and installed.

• Prior experience as a Pipe Foreman or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of pipe installation techniques and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to effectively manage and coordinate a pipe installation team.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• High attention to detail and quality.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
