What You've Accomplished You have completed a High School diploma or it's equivalent. The journeyman Pipefitter will have at least 4 years work experience which relates to the pipefitting maintenance field such as fabrication, installation and repair of industrial piping systems. Due to the variety of tasks, a thorough knowledge of maintenance techniques, material, tools and equipment is required. As a Pipefitter Journeyperson in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Maintenance Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include: + Repair, installation, modification, routine inspection, troubleshoot, replacement, and testing of plant equipment. + Ability to work from rough sketches or engineering drawings to perform fabrication work. + Adhere to established industry safe work practices. + Knowledge of and ability to conform to requirements of governing codes. + Ability to weld and maintain certifications. + Ability to work rotating shift assignment if assigned (based on seniority). After a successfully completed introductory period the pay increases to $54.70 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and benefits.
