La Strada Contracting & Pipeline, a leader in pipeline construction and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pipeline Project Manager to join our team in Lake Forest, CA. The Pipeline Project Manager will oversee all aspects of pipeline projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a strong leader who can manage complex projects, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and drive results that align with the company's standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

La Strada Contracting is a Non-Union General Engineering Contractor serving the Southern California region, specializing in grading, paving, concrete curb & gutter, and decorative pavers. Founded by Rudy Ruiz in 1999, the company partners with clients from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on schedule with a small business, hands-on approach. In 2010, La Strada expanded into the pipeline industry, and in 2016, La Strada Pipeline was formed through a partnership with Chris Anselmo, bringing over 25 years of pipeline knowledge to the company. • Project Planning and Management:
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for pipeline construction and maintenance projects.
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting schedules and plans as necessary to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee all phases of pipeline projects, from initial planning and design to construction, testing, and final inspection.
• Team Leadership and Coordination:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring all project tasks are performed to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance performance and foster a positive work environment.
• Quality and Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure all project activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, including environmental and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Implement corrective actions as necessary to address any issues or deviations from project plans.
• Client and Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and documentation to clients and senior management.
  • Resolve any client concerns or issues promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Budget and Cost Control:
  • Track project expenses, ensuring all costs are within the approved budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize project efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • Approve purchase orders, invoices, and change orders related to the project.

• Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of pipeline construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
