Required:
- 3D CAD
- Minimum of 10 years' experience with piping design
- Industrial Experience
- MS Office Suite
- Steam and/or Power Generation
- Gas Turbines and Combined Cycle Plants
- Construction knowledge and/or experience
- Autocad Plant 3D is highly preferred
- Ductwork and layout is a plus
- Pipe routing and layout utilizing ASME Section B31.1 and B31.3 Piping Codes a plus
- pipe support location, hanger design and familiar with pipe stress analysis a plus
- Route cost-effective piping systems including steam, boiler-feed, condensate, cooling water and instrument air that are fundamentally sound and esthetically pleasing
- Review and interpret piping systems in PFD and P&ID drawings
- Assist senior piping staff reviewing vendor and other contract related documents
- Interpret piping stress analysis reports for incorporation into piping design
- Check piping designs for compliance with ASME piping codes
- Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced design staff
- Review weekly project schedules to ensure that deadlines are met
- Attend weekly meetings as required
- Adhere to schedules and work assignments with a minimum amount of supervision
