Alera Group is looking for a Placement Advisor to join our team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Placement Advisor Special Accounts primary responsibility is to assist in the details of marketing a piece of new business or challenging renewal. Builds and maintains strong relationships with Producers Account Executives, potential clients, carriers and wholesaler including being a Liaison between the producer and the Prospect for gathering marketing information to quote new business and gathering final binding documents. Must be able to quickly determine the information needed to properly underwrite the risk. Knowledge of what coverages are needed is vital. Focus is primarily on new business and typically works on accounts. Will receive guidance and mentorship from Director of Placement and Marketing Team.
Heavy AMS 360 and image right utilizations including: Applications, loss runs, attachments, follow up for quotes and subjectivities, review quotes, prepare proposal, document and moralize negotiations, online quoting, billing and transfer to AE once bound.

Essential Functions:
- Manages applications, loss runs, attachments, and follow-ups for quotes while documenting negotiations and conducting online quoting.
- Rates accounts in the online system and sends information to Resource Pro for clerical submission documentation.
- Completes specifications based on application data and creates tailored proposals, including premium and coverage comparisons.
- Develops submissions for carriers and wholesalers with marketing guidance, risk management details, target premiums, and account summaries.
- Updates the online database to reflect bound coverages and handles billing for agency accounts, offering full payment or installment options.
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or combination of education and experience
