They are seeking an experienced Plaintiff Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our growing team.
**Position Overview**:
Seeking a skilled attorney with **medical malpractice** and **trial experience** who can handle a caseload of complex medical negligence claims from inception through trial. The ideal candidate is passionate about advocating for injured clients and has a strong background in trial preparation and litigation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage all aspects of medical malpractice cases, including intake, discovery, depositions, and expert witness preparation
- Represent clients in court, conducting trials, hearings, and mediations
- Develop case strategies and work closely with clients, paralegals, and other team members to ensure effective case management
- Review and evaluate medical records and reports to identify liability issues and damages
- Negotiate settlements to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
**Requirements**:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in RI.
- Minimum of **5 years of experience** in plaintiff medical malpractice litigation
- Proven trial experience with a successful track record of verdicts and settlements
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion for clients and a commitment to justice
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with catastrophic injury cases
- Ability to manage complex caseload
- Established relationships with medical experts and professionals
