PLANNING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, please note it is not an executive level role, responsibilities are in line with project planning/coordination
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Planning Account Executive will be managing day-to-day operations and executions, working on relevant, best-in-class and unique content across the *** International social platforms that bring our brand & guest experience to life. Candidates must have a strong creative acumen and business skills, as well as knowledge of the social media and influencer space.
A strong foundation of governance layers is the trademark of the Planning team you would be a part of. This team sets best practice foundations of workflow management the entire Social Team follows. Candidates should be extremely detail oriented with a clear passion to set up processes that enable creativity to flourish.
The Planning Account Executive will work closely alongside an in-house team of planners, copywriters, editors, producers, content creators and other internal teams such as PR, Web, Loyalty and Brand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
" Acutely aware of project timelines and expectations, communicating details and updates across key stakeholders & teams using the various planning and project management tools within the Social Team infrastructure (Monday.com, Trello, Brandwatch, etc.).
" Lead day-to-day organization and build-out of monthly content calendars in Trello while establishing weekly posting schedules and times across key social channels.
" Own daily operations of select social channel UGC sharing, content sourcing as well as community engagement activity.
" Attend relevant meetings and brainstorming sessions (Social and beyond) and proactively compile notes indicating key points and clear next steps for the Social Team.
" Responsible for assigned internal projects from briefing to resourcing to final execution with thorough knowledge and understanding of processes and the time required to complete each stage. Can formulate the implication of changes to delivery timelines and proactively communicates progress and challenges in a timely and succinct way to all involved.
" Create weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables for key markets with the goal to show status quo and progress on our path towards hitting and surpassing EOY social goals.
" Ensure that the agenda for weekly Status meetings is populated while sharing presentation responsibility with the head of Planning.
" Understands how each assignment fits for the brand, why an idea is right, and the context surrounding that idea.
" Demonstrate a superior ability to creatively manage and deliver a quality product, on time, on strategy and on budget.
" Understands the role of other social media functions (Social Partnerships and Activations, Creative and Strategy) connecting the dots considering timelines and deliverables.
Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
" Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant experience.
" 2-3 years of professional experience as an Account Coordinator or Account Executive or related role in advertising or marketing.
" Superior attention to detail and strong organization, time management and communication skills both written and verbal that set standards for others to follow.
" A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly without compromising quality.
" Experience working with organic or paid social campaigns and platforms, with a strong understanding of the social media landscape, KPIs and metrics.
" Ability to develop detailed plans and assist in running team meetings, identify and resolve issues and manage risk.
" Ability to build relationships and gain trust with people at all levels of the organization. Positive outlook and good interpersonal skills.
" Ability to follow direction from senior team members & build upon creative ideas when needed.
" Creative, innovative personality that is always thinking outside of the box.
" Understanding of the travel industry and business. Cruise, travel, or hospitality experience preferred.
" Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook with the ability to learn new software & operating systems.
" Additional languages are a plus.
