In doing so, better understand challenges, develop analysis, identify needs and required actions, and develop recommendations to support achievement of departmental and company goals. Monitor input and accuracy of all blood collection planning information that feeds other production planning and scheduling decisions.Responsibilities:
- Manages the production calendar to ensure the achievement of collection goals in the most effective and efficient way possible.
- Updates and monitors collection calendar and non-collection events in the computer scheduling program. Ensures the collection calendar and non-collection events are compliant with business rules.
- Monitors new entries into the computer scheduling program and assists when needed in any troubleshooting within software related to new entries.
- Works with Recruitment and Blood Collections Management to coordinate collections staff, equipment, and vehicle sharing and scheduling through use of computer scheduling program.
- Assists with keeping track of the goals that are projected from Recruitment with entering and reporting the data.
- Manages the collections calendar change process after initial deadlines i.e. Calendar Lock period and communicates and processes per business rules.
- Collects and analyzes data on recruitment and collection operations for the purpose of planning. Prepares meaningful reports and makes recommendations based on the analysis.
- Identifies variability and gaps in collections calendar and recommends adjustments to assure internal and external service improvements and efficient use of resources.
- Responsible for completion or oversight of KPI’s and dashboards as required.
- Provides expert consultation on tooling and software solutions required to optimize Recruiting, Scheduling, Planning Operations, and Donor Services.
- Manages strategic projects aligned with scheduling, planning, and product objectives. Ability to identify “waste” and improve processes with supporting analytics.
- Provides intermittent off hours coverage for emergency updates of the production calendar.
- Exercises independent judgment and discretion in adding and changing mobile drives to enable the effective utilization of blood collection staff and equipment.

- Associate's Degree in business administration (or related field) required
- Bachelor's Degree business (or related field) preferred
- 1-3 years experience in business environment required
- Possess highly developed oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management team.
- Ability to participate and collaborate as a team member.
- Ability to write basic correspondence.
- Strong project management skills related to problem solving, planning, organizing, and implementing solutions across multiple organizational units.
- Ability to do intermediate math and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, multi-task, and work with confidential information.
