Key Responsibilities
- Possesses knowledge of planning principles, best practices, & techniques of planning.
- Utilizes written and graphic skills for developing and presenting planning reports and projects.
- Able to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Serves as an assistant facilitator during workshops.
- Performs a variety of tasks related to the collection, analysis, and interpretation of a variety of quantitative and qualitative data to prepare reports and maps.
- Supports field evaluations and assessments.
- Assists the project manager and Senior Planner with project execution.
- Researches requirements and standards.
Education and Experience
- Junior or senior student working towards their Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or related field of study.
- Experience with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong planning, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
