About the Role
The Planning and Scheduling Lead oversees material scheduling and production planning to meet company goals. Key responsibilities include monitoring production schedules, managing inventory accuracy, optimizing shipping and receiving processes, and ensuring team KPIs are met. This role works closely with Manufacturing Management to prioritize resources and adjust schedules based on demand and capacity.

• Responsible for the monitoring of (for financial tracking purposes and in support of company goals).
o Production Schedules
o Raw Material
o WIP
o Manufacturing Order Variances
o Finished Goods
• Exercise high degree of discretion and judgment to establish priorities and delegate tasks to support personnel.
• Negotiate, approve, and prioritize production schedules based on demand requirements, new product introduction, equipment capacity and materials supply with Manufacturing Management Team.
• Develop and drive Controls and team KPIs which to measure and monitor service levels and lead to improved performance of Production Logistics activities
• Manage KPIs including actions with clear deadlines when team is not meeting targets on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis depending by on the KPI
• Responsible for coordinating with customer service to maintain accurate requirement dates for customer orders.
• Expand utilization of warehouse management system to improve inventory accuracy.
• Drive process changes to existing shipping / receiving practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Drive the development activity of the Production Planning, Material Scheduling, Shipping and Receiving teams to support professional growth and career succession.
• Use outstanding leadership abilities to select, develop, inspire and evaluate teams and individuals to achieve and maintain world class performance.
• Partner with human resources to identify knowledge gaps and create training material and roadmaps to increase employee skillset
• Conduct regular one on one meetings and performance reviews with direct employees to provide coaching and feedback
• Identify personnel resource requirements and makes staffing recommendations to senior management
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Expectation
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You’ll Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Production Management or related business or technical degree
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience with at least (1 to 2) years in a leadership role
- Preferred: APICS certification and/or Six Sigma
- Preferred Skill: Any Enterprise Resource Planning software (XA-INFOR/Other)
