Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, in-person at the Beavercreek, OH location.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager/Plant Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of reliability for plant equipment. This role focuses on supporting the Client Performance System, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and demonstrating strong ownership of the Maintenance Excellence process within the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement comprehensive safety processes to ensure employee safety and prevent injuries.
- Ensure plant compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
- Drive a reliability-centered maintenance process to enhance machine uptime, improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and reduce operational costs.
- Provide leadership to achieve and sustain high standards of plant condition and equipment performance.
- Manage, train, and develop maintenance department personnel to enhance their technical skills.
- Lead capital projects, participate in annual plant budgeting, and manage department spending.
- Apply reliability tools to identify the root causes of equipment failures and implement countermeasures to improve reliability.
- Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team, focusing on driving plant and process improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial), or a related field.
- 3 years of successful experience leading a plant maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environment or 5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred.
- Experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or the Reliability field preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of OSHA requirements related to equipment and the ability to implement safety measures.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Root Cause Analysis techniques (FMEA, 5Why’s, ATS) and the development of countermeasures.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, instrumentation, lubrication, and predictive maintenance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
- Ability to lead a collaborative and effective team and manage costs efficiently.
