Job Description: Plant Engineering - Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager in Plant Engineering, you will be responsible for driving new business (hunting) and growing existing accounts (farming) with a focus on plant engineering services, utilities, and the oil & gas industry. While experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (Client) sector is a plus, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in core plant engineering services and digital services, with a proven track record of managing clients in sectors such as oil & gas, utilities, and industrial engineering.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within plant engineering, focusing on utilities and oil & gas sectors.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of $8-12 million by building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align plant engineering and digital solutions with client needs.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth, including process optimization and sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in plant engineering services.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with client goals and organizational objectives.
- Ensure successful project delivery by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in plant engineering services with a focus on utilities, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of digital services in plant engineering, including process automation and optimization.
- Excellent business development skills, with a balance of both hunting and farming.
- Experience managing a portfolio of $8-12 million.
- Experience in Client is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong client management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
