**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Plant Health Care Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant science, pest management, and sustainable horticultural practices. As a Plant Health Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant health care, including diagnosis, treatment, and maintenance programs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement plant health care programs tailored to the specific needs of our clients.
- Diagnose plant health issues, including pests, diseases, and environmental stressors.
- Apply treatments such as fertilizers, pesticides, and other amendments as needed.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of plant health care programs and make adjustments as necessary.
- Educate clients on best practices for plant care and maintenance.
- Stay current with industry trends, new treatments, and emerging threats to plant health.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, observations, and client interactions.
- Train and supervise staff involved in plant health care operations.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Arboriculture, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plant health care, pest management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of plant biology, pathology, entomology, and soil science.
- Certified Arborist, Certified Horticulturist, or similar credentials preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various client sites.
