Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place a Plant HR Manager for a manufacturing client in Carrolton, GA. As a Plant HR Manager, you will lead a team in developing and executing HR strategies and initiatives at one of the company's level-one sites that align with their organizational goals and values. This role requires a strategic approach to HR planning, policy development, talent management, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture. This leader will partner with senior leadership and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to drive performance, growth, and compliance across all HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead the team in HR policy development, implementation, and adherence, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee all aspects of HR at the plant level, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, team member relations, and benefits administration.
- Drive efforts to create an inclusive, engaging workplace culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
- Manage HRIS and other HR-related systems to ensure efficient processes, data accuracy, and effective reporting.
- Coach and counsel managers and team members to facilitate conflict resolution, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Identify skill gaps through skill gap analysis to develop and implement talent development programs and performance management processes, supporting career advancement and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, managing risks, and adhering to best employment practices by staying up to date with employment laws for federal, state, and local as well as company policies.
- Lead change management initiatives, supporting the organization through growth and transformation.
- Develop and monitor key HR metrics to assess performance identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to make the necessary improvements.
Education, Experience, Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- PHR preferred.
- 10+ years of directly related experience.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop HR professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in managing change and driving organizational development and effectiveness.
- Ability to analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Experience leading HR teams and leading in 500+ team member count manufacturing site.
