Title: Plant Maintenance Assistant
Job Duties: The Plant Maintenance Assistant must possess the ability to perform a variety of duties, including assisting with the maintenance/repair and modification of the building, its utility systems, and grounds; follow a written planned maintenance program on various mechanical, electrical, and systems equipment, as well as the necessary documentation as required in permanent files.
Qualifications:
- A high school graduate/GED preferred.
- At least one year in oneof the following fields: (a) general maintenance (institution or building), (b) carpentry or facility construction, (c) plumbing and/or electricity, (d) appliance maintenance. Must posses the ability to communicate, understand, and carry out directions or instructions, both written and verbal, as well as work independently preferred.
- A valid California driver's license is preferred.
