About the Job
This position is responsible for proactive maintenance leadership within the plant, maintenance program development, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to include industrial equipment, production equipment, utility, and facility systems. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in technical field, must hold a Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO License) and have a minimum 5 years as a maintenance Manager or supervisor in a fast-paced, rapid growth production or manufacturing environment.
Salary $80k-110k/year DOE
Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain the preventative maintenance program in accordance with the equipment manufacturer?s recommendation/industry-accepted best practices for all plant equipment. Ensure timely execution by maintenance technicians and operators of preventative maintenance tasks
-Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained
-Coordinate and assign daily tasks with Department Supervisors, for all Maintenance Technicians as needed for production support as well as many special project tasks
-Oversee and coordinate the Work Request and Work Order programs to ensure quality and timeliness
-Train and manage maintenance techs on all shifts on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and utility systems
-Install, and repair machines, equipment or structures using necessary tools
-Estimate & record costs to repair machines or equipment
-Develop training program for all utility systems including Ammonia Refrigeration and Boiler Systems including credentialing for all staff
-Support General Manager in business planning for future building and equipment investments and expansions
-Manage projects as necessary directing staff and/or working with general contractors
-Develop ongoing Continuous Improvement Plan for the maintenance department
-Create SOP for prioritization, resource allocation
-Promote General Plant Safety, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices
-Report issues with regards to the Food Safety Management System to the Quality Assurance Manager or executive leadership team and adhere to the requirements of FSMA
-Manage spare parts and maintenance materials inventory
-Develop annual maintenance budget for approval and work within approved budget

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Must hold a Minimum of a Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO License) (or be eligible to obtain immediately)
-Must hold a minimum of a Master class Boiler License
-Minimum 5 years as a maintenance Manager or supervisor in a fast-paced, rapid growth production or manufacturing environment
-Must have working knowledge and application of OSHA programs and safety operating practices, including but not limited to machine guarding, lockout/tag-out, personal protective equipment and safe maintenance practices
-Must have and are currently utilizing Electrical/PLC/Controls experience
-Ability to read and understand manuals, drawings, and P&ID Documents
-Ability to follow proper safety procedures and requirements
-Ability to establish, lead and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment
-Self-motivated with ability to allow constructive feedback to grow in position
-Must have Forklift certification and experience and be willing to obtain with our organization
