Plant Manager - Judge Group

Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $105,000.00 USD Annually

We are working with a growing food manufacturer seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead their manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in manufacturing operations, a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, and a passion for driving operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills to oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, safety, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans to achieve plant goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align plant operations with overall business objectives.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficient production processes and meeting production targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, to optimize plant efficiency.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Enforce strict quality control standards to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement robust quality assurance programs and procedures.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Prioritize safety and maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety training and promote a strong safety culture.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, engineers, and production workers.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
• Financial Management:
  • Manage plant budgets and control costs to optimize profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost-reduction strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management.
• Proven track record in leading and managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems.
