Summary of the Role:The Plant Manager is responsible for the day to day operations for our TSS Denver facility. The Plant Manager will successfully lead and direct the local operations, engineering, supply chain, maintenance and quality teams. Additionally, the Plant Manager will partner with the business to achieve both short term and long term financial operating goals while aligning with Trelleborg’s Core Values.Tasks and Responsibilities:Develops a strategic manufacturing/capability plan to meet the market needs and organization’s overall business plan and agreed objectives of sales, profit, cash, on time delivery, quality and other performance targets.Establish operating budgets; monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.Ensure facility goals are established and driven to support Corporate Goals and ObjectivesMotivates team to generate sales revenue and profits to meet or exceed budget expectationsCollaborates with Quality and Regulatory team to ensure SOPs are followed, corrective actions are implemented and repeated occurrences are resolved timelyPartner with Human Resources to determine talent needs, improve employee engagement, performance management and overall alignment to the business unit’s organizational structureWorks with direct reports to communicate and update goals and/or metrics, illustrating objective evidence of improvementAllocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity.Set, and monitor the performance of the plant against, standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and administration efficiency, cost control, sales revenue, legal compliance, and human resource management.Provides monthly reports to communicate the financial, KPI and overall management performanceResearch, evaluate, and recommend investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant’s production capabilities.Develop and implement a variety of operating policies and procedures (in conjunction with corporate subject matter experts) to ensure that the plant meets it current and future production targets and quality standards.Drives key metrics regarding quality and continuous improvementEnsures CapEx projects are completed on time and in budgetPerforms process audits to monitor procedure and policy conformanceCollaborates across functional areas to implement needed improvements (tools, equipment, procedures, forms, training materials, etc.)Actively promotes/builds a culture of continuous improvementEstablish and champion a 5s protocol for the siteChampion and help drive a top safety culture and clean working environment for all employees, achievement of all environmental and health and safety requirements.Education and Experience:4-year degree in Engineering, Operations Management or any related field8 years of operations experience5 years experience leading a teamPrevious P&L responsibilitiesExperience with Lean Sigma methodologiesExperience with 10CFR50 and ISO9001:2015 preferredCompetencies:Ability to communicate clearly by conveying and receiving ideas, information and direction effectivelyAbility to read, write, speak and understand the English languageAbility to demonstrate adequate job knowledge to deliver a world class performanceAbility to challenge oneself to consistently meet all goals and deadlinesWillingness to strive for excellence by producing work that is free of errors and mistakesDesire to delight both customers and coworkers by offering encouragement, fostering teamwork and addressing conflict appropriatelyCommitment to making improvements company wideDemonstrated competence using Microsoft OfficeDemonstrated ability to successfully present thoughts, ideas and information to large groups of peopleAbility to maintain a professional and respectful relationship with coworkers and company in a leadership capacityAbility to manage cross-functional teams, coordinate supplier/customer meetingsProblem solving; Ability to overcome obstaclesAbility to influence for impactTravel:Up to 10% domestic and internationalApplication:Apply here!Last Application Date 10/26/2024The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level
