Our customer is seeking a skilled Plant Manager with an automotive manufacturing background and 3-5 years of leadership experience to oversee all plant operations in a fast-paced environment. The primary responsibility of this position is to plan, direct, and coordinate departments responsible for planning, production, maintenance, quality, and shipment of products. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Automotive Production Systems and possess hands-on technical ability to achieve manufacturing objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our plant to ensure efficiency and productivity are maintained at the highest level. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with excellent leadership skills and a strong background in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
2. Lead a team of production employees, promoting a culture of teamwork and maintaining a high level of employee morale.
3. Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
4. Oversee production planning, ensuring that production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
5. Implement strategic planning initiatives to drive growth and profitability of the plant.
6. Manage performance of team members, providing feedback, coaching, and training as needed.
7. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
8. Manage projects effectively, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in team building, process improvement, strategic planning, continuous improvement, project management, performance management, and production planning.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage a team.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of manufacturing software and systems.
9. Knowledge of industry safety regulations and procedures.
10. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage change effectively.
11. Knowledge of TPS or other Automotive Manufacturing best practices.
