About the Job
A leading metal fabrication company is looking for an experienced Plant Manager with at least 10 years of manufacturing experience to oversee daily operations, ensure safety standards, and drive production efficiency. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of metal fabrication processes, and a proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor plant staff to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Oversee all manufacturing processes including metal cutting, welding, and assembly.
- Implement and maintain strict adherence to safety and quality control standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and logistics teams to meet production goals.
- Monitor production KPIs, manage budgets, and develop continuous improvement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
- Optimize plant resources to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide quick, effective solutions.
- Drive initiatives to improve overall plant performance and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of metal fabrication processes and industry standards.
- Proven experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar efficiency programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
