Shaw Industries is looking to hire and train associates who will playan important roleinthe manufacture of carpet tiles fora wide variety ofcommercial customers.In this role,associates willgain diverse work experiencesand exposure to multiple areas of manufacturing.We’relookingfor individuals who areambitious, interested in learning various skills, andwho areexcellent problem solvers.
We are currently looking to fill2ndand3rdshiftopenings.No prior manufacturing experience is necessary. Training isprovidedfor all entry-level roles.

Below are the positions that you will be considered for when you applytothis job posting.
Creeler– This production associate places spools onto holders (creels) to feed yarn into carpet manufacturing (tufting) machines.No experience isrequired.
CreelerOperator – This production associate helps to relieve the carpet manufacturing (tufting) operator, mends yarn, andreplaces empty spools of yarn. Some experience ishelpful.
Tufting Operator – This production associate runs the carpet manufacturing machines (tufting), ensures high qualitycarpet production, and ensuresasafe work environment.No experience isrequired.
Material Handler –This production and distribution associate will learn tooperatevarious forklifts, lift trucks, and other material handling vehicles tomove raw materials, carpet waste, yarn bales, boxes, and other products across the facility. No experience isrequired.
Tile Cutting/Cut Order Associate – This production associateis responsible foroverseeing the final inspection of carpet tiles before they are delivered to the customers. No experience isrequired.
Qualifications
Each role has different lifting, reach, and physicalmovementrequirements.Typical requirements include the ability to bend, stoop, reach, pull, and push repetitively.
May need to climb ladders and stairs depending on the position.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 15lbs.
