Pay Range: $21/hour plus shift differential
Shift(s) Available: 2nd Shift 4:00pm - 2:00am, Mon-Fri. Training on 1st Shift.

Position Summary:
You will gain knowledge of the facility, general department knowledge, and handle tasks through completion of tasks and look for ways to improve the process and personal performance. Plant Utility is expected to perform a variety of jobs, tasks or duties as assigned.
Job Description:
+ You can expect to be assigned to one of the following departments: Blend or Warehouse
+ You should be available to work any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays as required. The shift schedules include 8- or 10-hour shifts
+ Perform tasks, including but not limited to:
+ General housekeeping which can consist of clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, oiling, greasing, lubrication, sample retrieval, power washing
+ Material handling by utilizing moving or motorized equipment – fork truck
+ Miscellaneous duties as needed or required to meet specific department and production needs
+ Load, unload trucks
+ Accurately complete loading and product shipment paperwork
+ You will be expected to show an ability to learn functions outside of the general laborer duties to help fill in for temporary or permanent vacancies in other roles (i.e. job classifications within the facility)
+ Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero-injury culture by possessing a safe working attitude, be an active participant in safety programs, learn and follow written rules and procedures, and produce accurate documentation
+ Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
Job Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Forklift Operation experience
+ Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within an industrial environment is helpful
+ Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
+ Ability to perform duties unsupervised
+ You should have regular, prompt attendance
+ Flexibility to change daily tasks as plant needs arise
+ Possess a positive attitude and can bring new ideas to improving the facilities
+ Excellent mechanical, troubleshooting, reasoning and problem-solving aptitude
+ Able to work independently, in a team, maintain a positive and respectful attitude, and be able to perform tasks in a timely manner
+ Able to utilize independent judgment to tackle problems, have excellent organizational skills, and strive for continuous improvement
+ Basic computer knowledge and general math comprehension
On-The-Job Training Requirements:
+ New colleagues will need to undergo on-the-job training to acquire skills and certifications, which will be assessed according to established standards
+ Complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training
+ Participate in company planner operations training
+ Equipment training may include but not limited to JLP, Forklift, Non-DOT Truck, Reach Lift, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.
