Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Plasma Engineer to join our innovative team focused on advancing semiconductor manufacturing technologies. In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of RF plasma systems and processes, from initial concept through to high-volume production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design experiments, analyze data, and implement solutions that enhance product performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the RF Plasma Engineering Team in the design, development, and optimization of RF plasma systems, including PECVD, ALD, and plasma etching technologies.
- Drive innovation in RF plasma generation, coupling, and control systems to enhance process efficiency, stability, and yield in semiconductor manufacturing, ensuring cutting-edge solutions for next-generation devices.
- Collaborate closely with product design, process engineering, and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of RF plasma systems into semiconductor equipment, from prototyping to production.
- Oversee the development and validation of RF plasma processes and components, guiding projects from initial concept through to production release, ensuring adherence to performance, quality, and reliability standards.
- Manage technical projects by overseeing timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality and cost-effective solutions aligned with business goals.
- Stay updated on the latest RF plasma technology advancements and semiconductor industry trends, driving the strategic direction of RF plasma engineering initiatives and maintaining a competitive edge.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and innovation to build a high-performing engineering team.
Qualifications:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Plasma Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in RF plasma engineering, specifically in semiconductor equipment.
- Proven track record of leading RF plasma development projects from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
- Must have experience with equipment at companies such as LAM Research, Applied Materials (AMAT), ASM International, and Tokyo Electron (TEL).

200,000 - 280,000 /year
