Plastic Mold Injection Mold Maker/Machinist, 1st Shift $19/hr - Le Roy, MI

Duties would include working with CNC, Plastic mold and rubber injection molding, checking parts, and keeping a clean workspace. Opportunity to become permanent after the training period.

Duties would include working with CNC, Plastic mold and rubber injection molding, checking parts, and keeping a clean workspace. Opportunity to become permanent after the training period.
Qualifications:
- Setting up and operating machines: Using blueprints or design directions to prepare the machine for each production run
- Monitoring production: Ensuring quality during the process
- Maintenance: Cleaning and performing maintenance on the equipment
- Mold design: Designing and developing new molds, molding processes, and techniques
- Manufacturing instructions: Developing and documenting manufacturing instructions and data sheets
- Material handling: Properly handling material, molded product, and related inventory control
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting injection mold equipment
- Other responsibilities include:
- Mixing catalysts and coloring pigments
- Cutting off excess material
- Grinding scraps into powder
- Reading specifications
- Pouring product into mold
- Removing cured product from mold
- Reliable
- Stand the entire shift if needed
- Ability to keep a consistent pace
- Basic Math
- Communication
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail
