Plastic Mold Setter / Process Leader - Akron, Ohio #24-00739

Salary Range: $52k - $83k Permanent Position with Benefits

Akron, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Plastic Mold Setter / Process Leader

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate (Trade school / Associate degree is a plus)
• 10+ years' applicable experience in the plastic mold industry
• Use crane and other lifting devices to install mold into press
• Verify proper fit, clamping and ejectors of mold
• Document and /or verify process documentation sheet
• Verify proper nozzle length and tip diameter
• Set up or verify proper water lines
• Set up fixtures and conveyors for production runs
• Monitor controller, chiller, dryer…
• Program automated robotic machine system
• Remove molds to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance is performed
• Read and interpret mold setup process sheets and part production work instructions
• Analyzes and develops new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
