Key Responsibilities:
Assist in setting up and operating blow molding machines: Work alongside the production team to set up and prepare blow molding machines for production runs. Learn how to load and unload molds, adjust machine settings, and troubleshoot minor operational issues. Monitor and adjust production parameters: Learn how to monitor key production parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times. Make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality and consistency. Conduct quality control checks: Perform regular quality control checks on blow-molded products to ensure they meet the specified standards. Learn how to identify defects, measure product dimensions, and assess overall product quality. Support process improvement initiatives: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains. Assist in implementing changes, documenting results, and analyzing data to drive continuous improvement. Maintain a clean and safe work environment: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Clean and organize work areas, equipment, and tools as needed. Documentation and reporting: Assist in maintaining accurate production records, including machine settings, production volumes, and quality control data. Contribute to daily shift reports and communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors. Learn about tooling and mold maintenance: Gain exposure to tooling and mold maintenance procedures. Assist in cleaning, inspecting, and repairing molds under the guidance of experienced technicians. Learn about different types of blow molding techniques: Gain knowledge about various blow molding techniques, including extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding, and stretch blow molding. Understand the applications and advantages of each technique.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, manufacturing, plastics technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to safety guidelines.
