| Plastics Engineer Process Engineer Manufacturing Engineer Plastic Molding Injection Mold Blow Extrusion Tooling Designer Moldmaking Lean Applications Thermoplastics Thermoset _ . Seeking individual with experience in a plastic injection molding environment to design parts with tight tolerances, undercuts, and strict quality requirements. *** Interface with customers and define technically acceptable design requirements based on customer input *** Sketch designs and use CAD software for detailed design and specifications. *** Analyze various factors of engineering drawings or diagrams, including use of the product, its environment, materials, the economics of production, safety, legal requirements, quality, production requirements, and cost. *** Use product analysis to recommend changes to product to better suit customer requirements, manufacturing plant capabilities, safety standards and cost to customer. *** Interface with engineering and manufacturing departments to verify product designs and identify manufacturability issues. *** Support engineering department in creation and testing of prototypes.
