Plastics Injection Technician

Currently working with a custom plastic injection molding manufacturer that has a need for 2 Plastics Injection Technicians that are able to start up machines, keep machines running, mold set-up including all secondary inserts and/or equipment; ensure materials and components are available for production operations.   This Plastics Injection Tech will sssist with creating a culture of accountability and customer first attitude. 

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience of injection molding processing required
• Excellent analytical and observational skills
• Sound knowledge of industrial machines and mechanical processes

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifying and monitoring production machine parameters
• Monitoring and testing product quality
• Ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently
• Identifying machine faults and production rate errors
• Reporting faults and breakdowns to supervisors and production engineers
• Identifying areas of production that can be improved or increased
