Plastics Material Handler - 3rd Shift - StaffWorks, Inc.

Our client is a plastic injection molding company that supports various industries! Their biggest customers are in the pharmaceutical and medical industries. They have over 175 employees across a 45,000 square foot warehouse. They are currently seeking Plastics Material Handlers!

Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect the incoming raw material (packaging conditions)
• IQMS Transactions.
• Store resins and concentrate in a designated area.
• Air and Vacuum lines connected properly.
• Log the raw material in the Receiving Log Book
• Clean air filters on dryers.
• Keep inventory control on raw material.
• Label and keep recycled material in a designated area to reduce the risk of mix-ups.
• Keep machines full of resin.
• Maximize the use of mixing equipment such as Movacolors.
• Lock out/tag out.

• Label the incoming resins with the conforming or not conforming labels previously made per Q.A.
• Follow material instructions, drying time and drying temperatures.
• Ensure the Dryer hoppers are cleaned before filling them up with resin.
• Make resin mixes according to job specifications

Qualifications:

• Experience working with plastics.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Fork lift and pallet jack experience .

Pay Rate:
$16.50 Hourly

Mon - Fri
3rd Shift - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
