Position Summary:
You’ll design, implement, and optimize plastic material processing, with a focus on injection molding and structural foam production. This hands-on role supports new program launches and ensures efficient, high-quality production. You’ll also lead continuous process improvements and provide technical support to the production floor.
Responsibilities and Duties:
·Manage daily plastic/resin production processes for injection molding and structural foam.
·Optimize processes to meet quality, cost, and efficiency goals.
·Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues on the production floor.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process development and tooling designs.
·Train technicians on efficient machine operations and process improvements.
Education, Experience, & Skills:
·Bachelor’s degree in Plastics or related field preferred.
·5+ years of plastic process engineering experience.
·Expertise in plastic injection molding; structural foam experience is a plus.
·Strong knowledge of molding processes, equipment, and tooling.
·Excellent project management and process improvement skills.
