Platform Architect
Platform Architect for St. Louis, MO to support network platforms & infrastructure strategy definition; participate in development of network & infrastructure platforms roadmap and short- and long-term plans; perform market analysis to identify potential new network features for inclusion in roadmap; develop security & compliance frameworks; define platforms consumption methodology & capacity management KPIs; select network & infrastructure suppliers; create metrics & reports to monitor performance of network platforms & infrastructure; monitor platforms budgets; lead & mentor junior team members. Requires Master’s in Business or IT field & 4 yrs experience developing manufacturing production network infrastructure to support business operations; preparing maintenance standards & guidelines for network & infrastructure services; implementing connectivity strategies for buildings & network devices; maintaining IT infrastructure, including WAN, firewall, voice, compute, cabling & workplace services, for manufacturing production networks; designing & reviewing new infrastructure management systems; serving as point-of-contact for IT service issues & escalations; developing network & infrastructure roadmaps and performing life-cycle management; managing financials associated with IT infrastructure; and performing market analyses to meet business demands related to IT projects. Will also accept Bachelor’s degree in said fields and 6 years progressive post-Bachelor’s stated experience. Up to 30% U.S. travel and 10% int’l travel req’d.
